My Candid Advice To All Uniuyo PUME & DE Candidates, 2013 .
For the time being, it appears the admission list for this year may not be in sight for many weeks to come. This is because apart from the negative scar ASUU strike has already created on the academic life
of the nation (with Uniuyo inclusive), the school is working hard to fix the result of thousands of candidates with diverse problems after the post UTME and DE screening exercises. Such issues include Zero Aggregates, Missing scores, incomplete results etc. ASUU is still striking, and NASU just suspended theirs. These relaxed hands could have helped make the work easier and faster, but given the present academic climate, things have nose-dived for the worst in the system.
As a Uniuyo PUME or DE candidate, i would advice you exercise a bit of patience and wait for the school, having an eye elsewhere if possible. As an adage goes, do not put all your eggs in one basket. Consider getting admission in other Universities or Polytechnics as well. Truth is, God-forbidding however, your name may not even be on that list after all, after wasting so much time and energy waiting. Its a win-win thing. Of course, not everyone will be admitted.
Always remember, Admission is a Probability, you are not assured except by divine intervention, until you finally see your name enlisted. Forget about all these so called “Runz” going around, I just hope you don’t fall a victim. That you scored so high is not also a guarantee, don’t forget. A stitch in time, they say, saves nine.
Don't loose hope on Uniuyo, keep praying for your dream school and do what is required of you. Candidates with Missing, Incomplete or Zero scores should follow the directives given on this site or place a call directly, and following the school’s directive your issue shall be addressed as soon as possible.
I hope to see you here soon not as a candidate again, but as a student. Thank you as you heed to the voice of reason, and remain blessed.
